Welcome to Encino

An enclave of the San Fernando Valley, Encino starts at the foot of the Santa Monica Mountains, just north of Bel Air and Brentwood, with Sherman Oaks to the east, Reseda to the north, and Tarzana to the west. This is an inviting, settled community of quiet, almost rural, streets with upscale homes on generously sized lots. Encino has a small town feel where amenities are within walking distance. The main area for shopping and dining is Ventura Blvd., between White Oak and Balboa, an area called the Encino Commons aka The Valley’s Miracle Mile, and home to more than 300 businesses. With the sun shining almost year-round, natives can be found picnicking at Lake Balboa Park, getting a workout at Lake Balboa Running Trails, or enjoying one of the many other parks including Libbit Dog Park.
